Or expensive mountainside luxury Park City condos and townhouses in areas such as Deer Crest, Silver Lake or Empire Pass at the Deer Valley Resort, Silver Star at the Park City Resort or The Colony at The Canyons. Park City has 3 separate, totally unique ski resorts all within 5 minutes of each other. These Park City condos are more expensive; anywhere from $1-12 mil.
Or head west 5 minutes to Kimballs Junction for very affordable, new Park City homes and shopping like Whole Foods; anywhere from $385 to 1 million.
Or drive 25 minutes south into the valley to the quaint European-style town of Midway or Heber City, a great area for horse farms. Expect to pay 35% less than near the 3 Park City resorts.
So those are the 6 places we think to buy Park City real estate today!
Any other areas and you'll feel too secluded and lose money...just look at all the empty homes for sale there. Buyers made imprudent decisions during the Park City real estate rush of 2005-2006 and bought houses in nowhere land.
